  • 3M structural adhesives are ideal for xEV battery applications such as battery trays, frame and cover attachment, battery module side panels, between-cell bonding and more. Our two-part epoxy, acrylic and urethane structural adhesives can bond dissimilar materials quickly and precisely, reducing surface prep time and resisting corrosion. In many cases, you can reduce or replace heavy mechanical fasteners in xEV battery design and production, enabling greater design freedom and decreasing assembly time. Some add rigidity and reduce vibration. Some combine strength and flexibility for bonding battery cells and other sensitive components. All offer a wide variety of options for cure times and temperatures – including room temperature – to meet specific OEM requirements.
